It must be a nice trek inside this canal... it sounds to be so aventurus :-) Maybe, I little foreground item can add a attrive spot for the picture.

It is almost just about every photographer who goes to India, would come back with portraits and streets of India but a lot less on its landscape. You did well to be different David. At least I know, there are greens forest and rivers, and the smell of Mother Nature amidst the curry flavored countryside and betel juice.

Love this photo, that reminds me of my Belgian childhood (too long to explain) - colours are lovely, also the reflections in the water...

Hi David,
Taking a boat on the backwaters in Kerala was one of the things I wanted to do most in India, but unfortunately due to time could only do some of the Northern areas. Your shot though shows me how beautiful it is there. Nicely composed looking through the trees, the image has a wonderful tranquil feeling and I like the reflections on the calm waters.
