Photographer’s Note

On the left is seen the walking bund of this popular and famous Kukkarahalli Lake here in Mysore. Noted personalities of this illustrious city have walked on this bund since many decades. The location has inspired poets, literateurs, sportsmen, and sundry. The bund is about a kilometer long. A couple of years back, a round about bund was made to enable walkers and joggers [in fact, it is a paradise for them, besides old people and the Adams and Eves] that runs for close to 4km. The structure seen is vintage metallic one that once housed a water pump, probably used to supply water to the city more than 80-90 years back before another great reservoir was built in full [The KRS dam]. The present generation will not believe this fact! This is also a haven for many lovely birds that also migrate to their nests from abroad too [that area is on the right, out of picture]. Hope you enjoy the location through my humble lens.

Hi Dinakar,
Your photo is nice and well taken. I would like to suggest you to crop this photo from the bottom a bit (1cm). I think it will be better if you edit the sky a bit with its color near the horizon. The roof top of the water pump and the paddle boats are not so colorful to attract people's mind. But if can make them so I will be very glad to see...

make the picture sharp and adjust some brightness and contrast.

Hi Dinakar,
Good start, your comment is very interesting ang gives some idea of the place, very good!!!
As for the picture, remember to keep the horizon - horizontal in such frames like this one. Either tilt it strongly or keep it horizontal.
I was wondering - this picture would look in Black and White good too.
