Photographer's Note
The temple atop Chamundi Hill is located in the southeast quadrant of Mysore, at an elevation of 1,033 metres. As is my custom, I was performing pradakshina when this young man spoke to me in English, from off the wall. "I know the capital cities of every country in the world." Well, I had to test him with two countries - Germany and Canada. With his answers correct, I realized I should make a contribution to his continuing education. Just down the hill from the temple there is a high school, and I presume he was a student there. Oh, as to the tennis ball; it is an inexpensive substitute for a cricket ball, and many young Indian boys involve themselves with cricket.
