Kemmangundi is a hill station in Chikkamagaluru district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is located at a height of 1434m above sea level. Kemmangundi was the summer retreat of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV of Mysore.
At Kemmangundi, one can trek to the Z-point from one can have a commanding view of the surrounding hills. This place is also popular for watching sunset. The photo shows a peak at the Z-point.

It's a good welcome to see other part of India than just the colorful characters of her streets and people. It's the land that shapes the people and how it affects them traditionally.
