Photographer's Note

This 12th century structure comprises two identical temples joined together, each with its own sanctuary that includes a lingam, opening out on a mandapa. This view is from the southwest. Moreover, each temple is preceded by an open Nandi pavilion. The mandapas are joined together in a north/south alignment to form a spacious columned hall so that the structure functions as a single temple. At one time, the temple must have been dedicated to Shiva and Parvati.
