The Ametikallu Peak, which is 1600+ mts from sea level, is the highest and toughest challenge to a hiker in the Charmadi Range of Western Ghats. The last few steps to the rocky summit, are extremely dangerous with deadly steeps, curves and hardly any natural support to pull ourselves when shaky. Expeditions to such isolated peaks in the Charmadi Range, should be accompanied by a local Guide, and our savior was one such guide called Channappa, from a place called Shishila (Base of Trek - 11kms from summit).
My cousins and I pose at the summit, wondering the nature there.

Wonderful captured the rock and hikers. Color specially black rock and green, well composition and good framing. Your photographic note is quite good.
