Photographer’s Note

una passeggiata al parco di Lal Bagh, tanto per riprendersi dal jet lag. tra le tante coppie e famiglie che trascorrevano il pomeriggio al giardino botanico, mi ha colpito questa scena, due genitori anziani e (presumo) loro figlio, seduti su una panchina a mangiare della frutta. soprattutto il gesto del figlio ha attirato la mia attenzione, un gesto affettuoso ma discreto nello stesso tempo.

a stroll in the park, yesterday - the botanical garden of Lal Bagh in Bangalore is very popular with the locals, as a matter of fact yesterday I must have been the only foreigner there - judging by the way I was being observed. a girl even wanted to have her picture taken with me...
this family caught my attention, maybe because of the son's gesture towards his father, the way his arm was resting on his shoulder, or maybe because the three of them were bathing in the warm light of the afternoon.

beh...i parchi sono luoghi di "caccia" (fotografica) eccellenti....e questo scatto lo dimostra.

a volta non servono paroloni, regaloni, dichiarazioni funanboliche....basta un gesto. semplice ed efficace

Hi Cristina...

I like the colors, and I appreciate your intention, with this composition that shows well the family : the bond between the son and the father and the mother standing in the middle as a figurehead... but what I would like to see really, is a close-up of this mother... I imagine how beautiful it must be: because the pink of her saree stands out with the green vegetation in the background, because the sharpness shows well the details of her hair, escaped from the braid, flying in the air, because she has a so dignified expression that I would like to scrutinize from near. Maybe, if your original shot allows such a close-up, could you propose this view, at least in WS?

questo quadro di famiglia è particolare, (una paparazzata ), mi piace il modo di come hai gestito la luce sui volti di questa gente, con i riflessi del sole sui capelli.Un carissimo saluto

e chi ti ferma più! Splendida quest'immagine che ci fai arrivare dall'India. Mi piace tantissimo la luce che illumina l'emozionante gestualità di questa famiglia. Bravissima nell'aver colto con grande sensibilità un tenerissimo momento di intimità.

mi piace la composizione, ma ancor più mi piace lka tua interpretazione del colore, forte e deciso, come immagino siano le sensazioni che regalano quei luoghi.
Ma il quadro è delicato e traspare armonia. Il bordo del controluce che incornicia il quadretto familiare è quel quid che consente il salto di qualità all'intera immagine.

Tecnica e composizione sono ad alto livello in questa istantanea che inscrive in una sagoma di triangolo la famigliola colta in un momento di relax sotto un bel controluce.

ottimo smaltimento del jetlag! Un bel tris su fondo verde, bella la panca ripresa da dietro con una luce moltl interessante che fa risaltare le sagome delle persone. E vai!

Bella composizione con molti elementi azzeccati: la luce i colori, le posizioni a piramide, la profondità di campo limitata, la definizione il gesto. Avrei forse stretto un pò il taglio.
