Photographer's Note
I took this shot in Muthunga forest in Kerala. Actually I should say I took it from Muthunga forest. The land that can be seen at the top is Mudhumalai Forest in Tamilnadu. Land outside the upper left corner of the frame (cannot be seen) falls in Bandipur forest in Karnataka.
This is the source of water for every animal in the forest. They generally come twice a day (at 7am and 5pm) here to quench their thirst. Human beings are not allowed at these times to protect the animals. Needless to say we are the most harmful creature on earth.
