Photographer’s Note

These people are fisherman,waiting in the morning for one of there partners just before going to sea for fishing. This shot was taken in the morning around 5am on the Rushikonda Beach,Visakhapatnam,Andhra Pradesh.

Visakhapatnam or Vizag as it is often called is a picturesque small fisherman’s village by the Bay of Bengal on the east coat of India. With beautiful hill ranges, caves, valleys, temples, lakes and beaches, Visakhapatnam is regarded the best tourism destination in Andhra Pradesh.

Dear Sunandan,

thanks for posting this photo. I like the subject of those guys sitting on their nets and waiting for something to happen...

Technically it seems to me that the pic is not very sharp and the colours could be a little more powerful, but I like the POV you've chosen.

Hi Sunandan,
Very balanced composition and interesting POV, but the b'uty of the moment is somewhat lost in dull colors and underexposure.
I would like to try a WS on this one, just to show what I mean.
