There are innumerable waterfalls in West Sikkim. Some of them are famous, some are not so fortunate. But, I liked most of them.
Here is one we found near Hee. I do not know her name but she is gorgeous.
But this is not a photograph of the waterfall. This is a scene of a remarkable struggle.
Look at the stones - one at the top and three at the bottom. They are being forced to fall, ceaselessly, who knows for how many years! But, they are fighting day and night to maintain their balance … to honor their stance.
Keep it up!

This is a stunning waterfall shot with a really beautiful composition and such vivid colors. As I simply am not able to successfully take shots like this, its always such a pleasure to enjoy one taken so well. I like your note too, it made me smile, and I am routing for the boulders from afar
All the best

Ciao e buona serata

Dear Alekhya, my last daily critique is for you
It is indeed a very green area with many lakes and waterfalls, I can see ferns on the right corner and bamboos, high definition and colors, your picture is not too much modified and natural, I remember a place named seven sisters falls, thanks, good evening

What a shot!

What a shot!
Love this waterfall with motion. Love the surviving story of those rocks and the presentation of it according to your story. f/16 provided here a superb depth. Nice sharp everything, which are contrasting with the motion blurred waterfall. Great colour too. Very good shot. Tfs.

Great image for sure
I especially like the lower part of the image, with the water sneaking among rocks and covering the stone wall, a really beautiful effect ;)
To says something, i would say that the greens are very very greens ;) lol

A beautifully composed and managed shot here Alekhya. The cascade of water is attractively placed on the diagonal and the long shutter speed has rendered the falling water well with plenty of detail preserved. The vegetation makes an attractive natural contrast too. Top class. Well done. Rosemary

I say bravo for your shot. The colors are beautiful and the waterfall "angel hair" has a very beautiful rendering.

I like the pov you chose for this one, enhancing the height and scale of this waterfalls. Great colours, light and details the way water was captured with a great sense of movement, and even without person to give a scale we can easily imagine the waterfalls is quite big. Well done, Congrats.

Maintaining their balance....to honor their stance, true to the core.
Its a beauty, Alekhya which you have captured with slow shutter speed. The low POV and the magnificent composition is a treat in all respect for my eyes.
This makes me remember Indranil Kar, a fellow TE member and a wonderful human being who has to his credit a shot or two of water in slow motion. Do browse his gallery........worth Gold

This is one such shot which inspires me to go out with my ND-filters attached to the camera and look out for a waterfall.
TFS one of your finest works,

You froze the waterfall on a very nice way.
Exactly a soft carpet of water with the stones as pleasant contrast.
This everything in a lovely green area.
Excellent composition, nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Notun chobi kothai?
This is a fabulous shot from you. It seems as if you have frozen the waterfall for us to appreciate its beauty.
I like the sharp and glistening wet rocks sticking out from the blurry waters, they create a wonderful effect. The sylvan surroundings contrast the waterfall so well. Baje comments niye matha ghamio na...I have been to this place and I know this place is as green as you show us. BRAVO!! to you for taking this wonderful picture.
P.S Eta ki Hee theke Chayataal jete gele rastate pore? Naki eta Uttare te Mainbus waterfall? Mone hochche dekhechi..thik kheyal korte parchi na. :-)
