Kanchenjunga falls is situated around an hours drive from Pelling towards Yuksom. It has water all the year around. Locals say it is fed by streams originating from the glaciers near the base of Mount Kanchenjunga the 3rd highest peak in the world. Tourists go from Pelling to see this waterfall. One has to climb a series of steep stairs to reach the base of the fall. The waterfall is set in sylvan surroundings and is really beautiful.
The above shot is taken from my P&S camera. After I reached this place I realised I had left my camera at the hotel.

Excellent shot of this huge falls Subho.
How did you take this without wetting yourself (and the camera)?
Very nice colors and sharpness.
It is admirable that you managed to cover the whole length from such a short distance.
Very well done.
With best wishes,

Pride the fall of water from this waterfall is a spectacular blast, which seems to fall into what looks like a mountain river, magnificent textures of rocks and plants.
Beautiful range of colors in these very natural tones.
A magnificent brightness management, sharpness is also perfect for enjoying the details.
Very well done.
Have a good day.

Waterfalls have such an awesome beauty to them that they always compel one to want to capture the power and motion that is contained within them. I like this image for several reasons. The elements of a great visual story are all there. There is motion, power and a vast scope of distance and height. Very nice photo.

This is a very fine waterfall photo. I love the texture of the falling water. It is so sharp, I can count the individual water drops. Very well done!

Well I've seen Kanchenjunga the mountain when I stayed in Darj but have never heard of the waterfall before so thanks for posting. Good exposure on the highlights and looks like a nice spot for swimming on a hot day. Excellent graphism and smart choice of a vertical frame. Tfs!

beautiful water fall and you captured it perfectly. Like the white water flows which is contrasting very well with the darker background. Excellent shot. Tfs.

The rocks are framing well the water falls. You have captured well the power of the water falls. The point of view is showing the détails and colors of the water falls. Have a nice day.

Very beautiful water fall with lovely and clear water. Sometimes water fall has this brownish water that does not look very clean. I can feel the power and the energy as it plunges to the pool and just imagine the sound of it. Thank you. A good quality photo with lot of details and the extra tall vertical format enhances the height of the fall.
