[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Gurudongmar Lake (also known as Gurudogmar Lake) is one of the highest lakes in the world located at an altitude of 17,100 feet (5,148 m). It lies on the North side of the Khangchengyao Range in a high plateau area contiguous to the Tibetan Plateau. The stream emerging from the lake is one of the source-streams of the Tista River.

I was there for at most an hour, barely managed to take couple of shots alongwith this pano before I lost breathe.

Hello Amit! Excellent panoramic shot! I'd love to see it large, of course, because the landscape is breathtaking in this small size already. It was worth the effort! Composition and colours are just great. The only "but" I have is the use of the polariser, which is obvious in the sky due to the differences in light (they say it shouldn't be used for panoramas, and you see why).
Good work! TFS and best regards,
Inés

Amazing., a perfect travel photograph. The reflection of the mountain in the lake and the inclusion of people all adds plus here.

Hello Amit,
This isa wonderful view of this lake in amongst the mountains. The panaramic format works extremely well providin us with a full view of all the wonderful elements in the surroundings. I particularly like the inclusion of the coloured flags and the people walking on the left, which provides a human element to the scene. Well done.
Cheers Grant

A breathtaking view. The pictur is so good that it deserves not to have the black borders up and down. But maybe you put them for the sake of completition (of the pixel count).
What's the purpose of the string around the like?
Best regards,
Jürgen

Striking image ... great point of view and depth .. I love the wind ... love the range of contrast .. that really amplifies the power of the place .. intense and powerful mountains .. wonderful.

Amit: this would have been a superb candidate for the large-post option if you're familiar with it. regards, c

Hi amit,
An awesome panorama and thanks for making that trek to such a high and thin air altitude. Great colors and interesting foreground. TFS. Gerald
