Photographer’s Note
Near Tsomgo lake, Sikkim (around 35 km from Gangtok). The lake with clear water (not seen; in the back side of the chair)is at the height of 12,400 ft, the surrounding hills are all covered with snow. The weather was cloudy then, it was raining intermittently. The serpentine road ahead, that is the way we came up here. I wished to sit on the chair and stare at the way down there as long as possible but I was only resisted from doing so by the biting cold and snow fall.
