[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Morning on Mt. Pandim(6691m)

Pandim is to the Goechala Trek as Ama Dablam is to the Everest Base Camp Trek. This majestic peak soars to almost 22000 ft and dominates the whole trek as we go through the valley beneath it to Goechala pass. Pandim is also known as Twin peak, referring to its two summits of similar height. The second peak is at the tip of of a great ridge that can be seen running almost from the top down through the center of the visible face going slightly leftwards as it goes down.

This image was taken in the morning from Dzongri Top. The clouds had almost cleared up since early morning offering a spectacular view of the mountain. The image has been reduced in size and sharpened.
