Photographer's Note

Shot on the way from Borong to Ravangla(both in the district of South Sikkim). It was a rather gloomy day and the mountains on the other side covered themselves with a blanket of fog.Suddenly the fog melted and the mountains exposed themselves with a teasing cover of clouds. It was a real heavenly sight with the ambiance providing an out the world feeling.
Borong is a very small hamlet in South Sikkim, and the only mode of accomodation is a private establishment called Wild Flower reteat. If you are tired of the city life ,Borong offers you the ideal destination for finding tranquility. The sound of every insect buzz, the birds chirp and the untouched woodland provide a relishing food for the mind to the nature lover. On the contrary, Ravangla offers a good view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Someone interested in trekking can also attempt the Mainam monastery and Valedunga from Ravangla.
