Photographer’s Note
Coming back to the Hornbill festival in Kohima..
The Horbill festival as been mentioned in my earlier posts is a festival that show cases the different tribes of the nagaland and their lifestyles..!!
This photograph is of a typical hut of the PHOM BANG tribe. All the 16 tribes of nagaland have different kinds of Huts and in the hornbill festival they make their stalls like their huts and have the typical cuisines and handicraft made by these tribesmen inside these huts..
These huts are examples of ancient architecture and artwork as there are intricate works done on bamboos. Three colours dominate these huts and they are red, white and black.

Hi Indro,
This snap takes me down my memory lane when I visited Kohima, I was just ten years old then. Fantastic colours and clarity is awesome.Maybe little too bright for my likings and may be too much close to the artwork for a perfect POV.
Greetings,

Indo,
A nice documented shot. But a bit too saturated?..
I like the way you have cropped the bottom.
Cheers,
Prem.
