Photographer's Note

Fearless and not bothered by their surroundings children enjoy and feel happy about smallest of things while we the adults crave for more and more. I happen to catch up with this little girl while travelling from one district to another in Mizoram, India. During one of our stoppages during the 7 hour drive, I spotted her seated on some stone blocks while she happily chewed and licked the sweets from a little plastic packet. Her happy and staisfying smile helped me to brush off the tiredness of the strenous journey with fresh energy.

Very moody portrait of the girl with super depth of the shot. Good sharpness and fine vivid colors. It will be better if the focus was on the eyes of the girl
