Photographer’s Note
A photo is taken at Umiam lake, which is near Shillong, Meghalaya. Weather was quite cloudy, the end of monsoon in that region of India. Umiam, (also known as Barapani locally, meaning large water body) I believe is the largest artificial lake in India. A wonderful place for photographers to spend days around and also for pure leisure of staying near nature up close.

Hello Arijit
The contrast between the gloomy almost foreboding sky and rich green and red of the shore is very striking. I also like the placement of the lone boat off to the left side, it provides good balance. Nice picture!
