Photographer’s Note
This is the Barapani lake in Meghalaya, Eastern India. Legend has it that two sisters from the heavens had set out for meghalaya ("meghalaya" - meaning abode of the clouds). But only one of them cud reach. So the sister who reached her destination cried her hearts out and this lake was formed by her tears.
This is a beautiful place with calm water and hills in the background. Really beautiful enough to spend a few days by the lake.

hello, vickana!
this would be a stunning shot and composition if... if the person was facing the other way in the boat :)
but thanks for sharing the ambience and the beautiful minimalistic composition
regards,
kristaps

Hi Vickana;
I agree with Kristaps to an extent, the composition needs to be a bit better- however, I don't think the person needs to be turned around to do so. I think cropping the image so as the person is not dead centre in the image will improve it dramatically. The image is sharp, the colors are good and the levels are good.
Kodak have some great tips, such as composition... check it out.
Tips from Kodak.
All the best,

Hi, Vikana -
I have to side with Dan here; because of the reflections, the person does not have to be facing us. But he is too much dead center for a photo that has nothing else in it to shift the balance.

Dan

This is a good capture, but, thats it...period...
as the composition is not up to the mark which can be bettered with a little amount of cropping which I have tried in PP;
see & accept or reject it with a :)

Hi Vickana,
A strange way to take a photo of the fisherman from the back. The reflections in the water are an asset to the composition. The subject is clear and precise. It is giging a sensation of loliness. have a nice day.

Hello Vickana
Although I do not share that the main element, is too focused on the composition, I think that this is a great outlet, with great clarity, a good management of lighting, and excellent reflexes. Well done.

Hi Vickana,
I like this tiny boat in the big expanse of blue - it lookslike it is lost in a huge lake. Nice colour and great reflection.

Hi Vickana
This is a really beautiful shot where peace and tranquillity reigns. The sharpness is impressive as are the colours. To improve the composition further, I think I would have avoided central placement of the boat. Great work all the same.
Best wishes
Mark
