Photographer’s Note
Dibroghar is No' 1 Tea manufacturer in Assam and in India. About 70% of the population around the city is working in the tea industry.
Upper Assam produces some 65% of India's tea.
The plucking work is a back braking job, done mostly by women.
One must pluck just the upper 2 leaves.
Assam black tea considered as fine tea and exported to most of the world.
The Japi (het) is an Assami symbol.

Hi Yuval. I like the pose and the lovely combination of pink and green. I found the light a little diffused and did a workshop to give the picture more definition. Nice capture. Regards. Klaudio.

Appealing composition. Ahhh, there, I see how she adds tea leaves to the sack she is carrying. The color of her sweater adds interest to this very green shot. Lovely. Thank you, Judy
