Photographer’s Note
Dibroghar is No' 1 Tea manufacturer in Assam and in India. About 70% of the population around the city is working in the tea industry.
Upper Assam produces some 65% of India's tea.
The plucking work is a back braking job, done mostly by women.
One must pluck just the upper 2 leaves.
Assam black tea considered as fine tea and exported to most of the world.

The picture is both interesting and well composed, with all the other women out of focus on the field inthe background, and the subject on a side of the frame.

Hello Yuval,
Nice capture of these women plucking tea leaves.
Fabulous lighting is adorning your composition.
The scattered girls throughout the plantation is pleasing to the eye, plenty space to navigate!
A clean presentation and an interesting one, scarcely seen.
Best wishes,
Francis Xavier

You clearly tell the story of critical judgment in plucking the product and the backbreaking nature of the work. I'll never drink tea in the same way again. Lighting and focus are wonderful. Thank you. Judy
