Arunachal Pradesh, a mysterious, magical and mystical land tucked away in the north eastern tip of India is one of the most compelling holiday destinations in India.
Parasuram kund, the important holy place for the Hindus is located 19 Kms. north-east of Tezu, District Headquaters of Lohit district - a growing town, famous for its scenic beauty. Thousand of pilgrims visit this place from all parts of India every year during Parshuram Mela held around 14th January on the eve of Makar Sankranti. It is situated at the deep gorge of river Lohit (popularly known as Brahmputra). The divine beauty of this area will definitely hypnotize a nature lover.
Near Parshuram Kund mighty Brahmputra river comes to the plain from mountains. This photo I have taken from Parshuram Kund. I hope you will like it.

parsuram kond is south-west of Tezu and not north-west from there.
this bridge is the longest in Arunachal.

Hope you're doing fine! I am extremely sorry that i could not contact you before I left..life was extremely hectic for the last weeks there. I see your folio & almost all parts of India are represented except Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Chhatisgarh & Bihar & some NE states! This is a picture from a place I haven't seen any pictures before. Nice shot of the turbulent river here, but the water is so pure & clear here!

Dear Goel sahab. Like most of your picturs it carrier a nice subject.Composition is good. Exposer is perfect.Like mr. Angshuman I had never seen any picture of this place before this.Thank you for sharing this.The intro is also very good, but I am a little bit confused after reading mr. Yuvan's criticism about this intro. Anyway the shot is gorgeous.
