The Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage".
Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish and Indian architectural styles.
In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the white domed marble mausoleum is the most familiar component of the Taj Mahal, it is actually an integrated complex of structures. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen. The construction of the Taj Mahal was entrusted to a board of architects under imperial supervision, including Abd ul-Karim Ma'mur Khan, Makramat Khan, and Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. Lahauri is generally considered to be the principal designer.

I visited Taj Mahal last year but it as bit more crowded. Excellent place to visit. I like your symmetrical composition very much, but I miss a bit more color contrast. Well seen and captured.
Thanks for sharing with us.

I have never been to Taj Mahal. I always enjoy seeing this wonder. This one is handled very well with perfect symmetry and soft colors. I kind of like that hazy atmosphere. Nice sharp image with natural colors.

Soft light over the world-renowned elegant icon of Agra, presented with perfect symmetry, creates an outstanding soothing mood prompting to introspection.
Many compliments for this piece of art.

It doesn't matter how many times we see this Icon world subject, its a scene that must be viewed.
the atmosphere is a bit hazy, but thats not your fault!
love the fact that the people are so tiny, like small splashes of color all scattered about.

A postcard shot that I will never get tired of viewing. Beautiful symmetry. Good details. I like viewing all the people who look so tiny in comparison to this large palace. Well done.

You're capturing well this architecture by a good composition and excellent soft tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see Muslim art of the domed marble mausoleum and some towers with white color. It's designed well for the courtyard with green short trees, too. So, It is interesting so that piercing through the whole symmetrically may look at Western construction.
Have a nice day.

The length of the alley is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the Taj Mahal. A ngood management of the light which does not hurt to much the ouput of the colors. Have a nice day.

Imposing monument in all its glory.
Good sharpness of the details; The nice subdued colours and the hazy atmosphere gives a melancholy feeling.
TFS and best regards.

No matter how many times this is seen, it's always impressive! This is about as symmetrical as any photo I've ever come across, almost looks too perfect to be true. :) The soft light and the vibrant greens have made for a delightful result, especially with a hint of blue/turquoise from the sky. A very soothing and agreeable look at one of the worlds most iconic buildings. A timeless classic. Thanks for the view. Enjoy your Sunday.
All the best,

I could realise how the purpose of this construtction. I didn't yet knew its name as Taj Mahal. I expect to see Taj Mahal inside. I do not know wheather the lightness is good or not to take photos. Normally photographers find it extremally difficult in darken environment. Lately in Turkey photographing the mosks the results haven't pleased me. Sometimes I think I have not an appropriate camera for such conditions. It is amazing our planet!...Warm regards. Domingos
