Photographer’s Note

This is Binsar again..now this view is just on the right of the photograph I posted yesterday where I mentioned that the mountains are starting from the right..here it is...I would try and make a panoramic view of bothe pics someday but you can feel the 270 degree view by combining bothe shots..this was taken from the view point of the KMVN(Kumaon Vikas mandal Nigam) tourist centre..and I the image of this jaw dropping view is still there fresh in the memory....

and its not ending at this photograph after this pic on its right are the mighty peaks which stand...so one can imagine the total view...its just ESCTATIC....

Again I am insisting that if you visit Uttranchal..please do go to Binsar and spend a night there...its one hell of an experience..!!! believe me..!!!

I like this better than the previous shot Indranil! I wanted to say something about the trees in the other one being distracting, but held my tongue. Here we have nothing but the mountains and sky bathed in some glorious light and exhibiting some fine detail in the mountains.

Interesting and quite unusual white balance for this one and the result is delicious. Skilfully planned composition with great play of different layers. A plesure to look at.

Almost all your shots are from mountains. You must be a mountain lover. The colours are amazing as well as the atmosphere in it.

Lovely work - I think i prefer this one to yesterdays, as the color is totally consistently marone. I will have to take you up your recommendation i think!

Hi Indranil,

the tone and the texture of the mountains is just wondrous ...
I go back and forth on the almost flat toned foreground hill .. I think I would like it darker .. but a truly wonderful image .. accurate title ...
