I was sitting on the ride elephant facing the opposite direction.it was an early winter morning.A deer alarm call suddenly rang out and i swung around to look in the direction.Instead of any tiger or leopard, i saw this amazing view over my friend's shoulder.the elephant too kind of momentarily paused mid-stream for a drink and i tried quickly to get as steady a shot as possible despite my twisted precarious position.hope u like it...

Hi Mohit, yes, I like it very much, it has a specific atmosphere. The fact that it is not quite sharp further back gives it some mysterious, impressionist feeling about it. But it is not too dark either, as there is enough light and warmth in the foreground, with the river leading nicely into the distance.

I have visited your folio. Its mervellous. U posted all the gems from your collection.
Regarding this pic it is well composed, misty and natural in colour.I think it lacks only wrt sharpness and contrast.

I've travelled past exactly this spot many times, on elephant back from khinanauli, and seen exactly this sight.I have tried many times in vain to capture the exact mood of the moment but never managed in years.Mohit, you've managed it!Brilliant!only someone who has been there will understand this one's brilliance.keep uploading!

this is simply awesome... considering your position and its limitations, what a beautiful composition you have got here... you have framed it well... the meandering river looks lovely and the tree skeletons add some enigma... a leopard or tiger would definitely have added some life n some thrill to this photo...
