Photographer’s Note
The Taj Mahal was constructed using materials from all over India and Asia.
The translucent white marble was brought from Rajasthan, the jasper from Punjab, jade and crystal from China. The turquoise was from Tibet and the Lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, while the sapphire came from Sri Lanka and the carnelian from Arabia.
In all, twenty eight types of precious and semi-precious stones were inlaid into the white marble.

Jeff

Hi Andre,
Absolutely beautiful, wonderful photograph, the best about this photograph is your timing (on account of the sky) and of-course the reflection.
Thanks for sharing.

Virtually impossible to find a new POV, but this WA view with the twin 'temples' included is one of the lesser known views. The early(?) light is lovely with the peachy tint on the right and some 'God's Rays' emerging from the clouds. Better not forget the reflections with are stunning.

Hello Andre.
Taj is Taj, and even is there are millions of photos of it it's impossible to resist and take one more.
I found your pov, even it's not original, nice as it frames Taj with the other temples surrounding it and we have a double scene given by the reflections as a bonus.
The cooler tones, are for me a new on photos around this monument as I've seen, in plain daylight, in blue hour, at dark night but never with this kind of cooler light, and this is something I like, it gives a sense of mysticality and of greatness it surelly has.
The sunrays piercing thru behind the clouds are a nice add to the mood of this photo.
Cheers.

Bravo !
