Photographer’s Note
Time to move away from Nepal, and revisit some more photos from India. This one is from the shores of the Ganges or Ganga river, in Varanasi. Taken around 8:30 AM. This Saddhu is doing his morning prayer over the holy water. In the workshop I will show a little more background as he pours water from a flask.

Hi steve
looking at your WS,I'm pretty sure this was shot on Aasi Ghat, but I've never met this one !!
the sadhu is excellent, skin tones, hairs, glasses, nice light ...
However I'm somewhat more reluctant as concerns the compo. Since you cropped half of this body, why not use a vertical portrait compo and do it tight ? I feel that the person at the right BG is not necessary
Just try and tell me
Best regards
Patrick

Hello my dear Steve
What a amazing image !
Unnatural of mismatch for European sadhu is attractive on contrary. Nice framework and sharpness, and color balance.
Congratulation on your good job !
Thanks for sharing and best regards,
