A brilliant portrait shot, Avishek. The detail is excellent. Lots of emotion in his eyes. And I think I can almost see you reflected in them. Well captured and framed.

Very nice portrait. I really like your framing here. you cut the top of the face and the chin in an equal way. Nice contrast between the face and the clothes. Well done.

What a contrast to the image you posted yesterday Avishek, with calculating eyes giving way to soft depth. This is very fine work, a study of the remarkable face of a man who appears to have seen much during his journey through this incarnation. You manage the depth of field very well in this capture, giving us fine details and an inviting softness as well. Keep this up and we'll be pointing to your work when we wish examples of fine portraiture. This is your home and it is only fitting that we have your vision, as well as that of visitors from the United States and Europe. I really appreciate your contribution.

wow! this is a tight cropping! great use of your Lens at f2.2... great sharp focus on the beard and eyes, neat use of DOF and a nice subject.. But to me this crop is a bit too tight... i cannot breathe any more. I have somewhat of a clautrophoebic feel looking at it...

The 50mm isn't the best lens available for this kind of image, but still this is an interesting portrait.
