Great shot and a different perspective of this popular subject. I think you have captured a completly differnt angle here and the camel in the foreground adds a lot of interest. Well done.

Very nice photo Anamitra. A good shot of the Taj Mahal. The colours and lighting are really nice. I like the camel and how there is a little bit of light cast on it giving it a slight glow. Camels are such beautiful animals. Nice composition. Well done!

A very good composition Anamitra. It is always hard to find something that makes your picture stand out from the millions of others that have been taken of the Taj Mahal, but you have done well with this position. Next time I shall ignore the usual POVs and go over the river. The colour you have added to the sky is very effective for this shot. At first glance the picture looks tilted, but I think that is an optical illusion. Cheers . . .David

Good choice to go with the Tobacco Grad filter Anamitra...you have turned "just another photo" of the Taj into something quite special.

you know why this photo is amazing... because it captures Taj, the symbol of India, against the Tricolour Indian flag... the orange in the sky, the white in the Taj and the green down there... beautiful composition... I have posted a workshop... I hope you like it...

wonderful view of the very little know side of the Taj Mahal. I like this kid and camel watching the monument, and the color of the sky.

Not too many people decide to go around, cross the river and admire Taj Mahal from a different perspective - just look for the crowds visible on the wall. Your composition of TM, Yamuna and the boy on the camel is very unique. Adding the colour to the sky you made the picture even more spectacular.
I like very much one of the previous comments, that this picture "captures Taj, the symbol of India, against the Tricolour Indian flag... the orange in the sky, the white in the Taj and the green down there... "
Great photo Anamitra!

What a spendid view of Taj!!! How could you capture such great colours in background of Taj? Your photo reminds me of Indian flag... almost the same colour shade....thank you very much for sharing it to TE.

LUCKY YOU!!! What a scene of the Taj!
When I chanced upon the thumbnail, it looked like the tri-colors of the Indian Flag...
This is an excellent image... so good, that its going on my favorites list.

Anamitra: I love the tobacco filter here and it's a classic composition - perhaps a lower POV would've have kept the boy's head away from the background architecture. just a thought. still nice stuff. regards, c

this is a perfect shot! Excellent composed, there is so much detail in your picture. The boy on the camel, the great looking sky, of course the Taj Mahal, the reflections of the Taj Mahal in the water. Absolut perfect work, there`s nothing more to say about this picture. Many, many thanks for sharing.
