I know there has been a gap in my posting. But I was busy with a few things friends and was also confused about which image to post next. I have just discovered facebook and have started blogging www.privatepartsof mylife.blogspot.com
This was the image I took in the living quarters or the Palace inside the Agra Fort

This is around the Diwan-i-Khas, looking into the mosque at the far end. I was at Agra last month during the independence day weekend. Lovely architecture there.I have a similar shot of the place, but from the other end.

Hello Aadiil, today we are neighbours. Good shot again from Agra Fort. Excellent composition and POV.
TFS and have a nice day
robertosalguero (246) 2009-09-09 21:31
Excellent perspective of this place. The lack of sunlight filtering from the outside is a different approach on this image. Good details and soft tones. Thanks Aadiil.
BilboCA (734) 2009-09-09 22:12
I like your repeated theme of truncated vanishing points.
This photo features strong lines drawing us to the center right were we are treated to a spot of blue in an otherwise cream and brown field.
The repeated columns on the right, with their play of shadow and light, and the repeated doorways on left, add nice richness to the simple dominant theme.
I'm struck by the interesting pattern of light and dark on the ground on the left side, matching the pattern of doorway and wall. It almost looks like reflected light off of the light-colored walls contributes to the illumination of the stone flooring. An interesting effect!

Hello aadilj. A beautiful and worth seeing photo. I recognize your photographic handwriting. The composition is again excellent. Regards, Wolfgang.

Une perspective des plus soignée.L'oeil est irrésistiblement attiré par le vêtement bleu au fond de l'image.

Hi Aadiil,Quite a contrasts from the vibrancy of your previous posts, the wooden doors and slab flooring give some colour and texture , in an otherwise clinical and a little austere space. Thanks Tom.
rodgerg (55767) 2009-09-10 0:36
An anothre supreb view with an incerdible depht of filed and a very nice harmony in the colors. This image is too very graphic and very dynamic. The peoples in the BG give an interetsing element of life and an idea of the scale of the place. an another excellent shot in your gallery.
francio64 (39744) 2009-09-10 0:36
prospettive e DOF sempre molto elevati nelle tue foto, come in questa.
mauro61 (52855) 2009-09-10 0:44
bella la lunga prospettiva con colonne da una parte e porte dall'altra.
Mi piace la monocromia del fabbricato e la bella luce che si irradia nella foto.
Bravissimo come sempre
eversmile (11636) 2009-09-10 1:50
Most of all, I like the tender, soft hues of colors. Their delicacy is in good harmony with the shapes of the decorations on the wall. This is brilliantly framed with a strong perspective. And I like the inclusion of the door, as a starting point for the discovery... Congratulations.
delkoo (68) 2009-09-10 2:07
you certainly have a very good eye for this type of photography, the composition, colours and light are just wonderful.

macondo (18637) 2009-09-10 3:09
One of your favourite themes, this - the long corridor of arches, columns, doors, and so on! This one is marked by the presence of people at the end of the passage, a good inclusion to give a sense of proportion and a dash of colour. As always, the exposure is superb in showing the soft light and almost imperceptible shadows. I went to Agra many, many years ago to see the Taj, and remember that the day was incredibly hot and dusty; yet this scene looks cool and relaxing.
delpeoples (55238) 2009-09-10 3:45
Welcome Back Aadiil, we have missed you. Again you provide us with a remarkable photograph characterised by beautiful symmetry and amazing depth. The image is so sharp and well-exposed. TFS and enjoy the rest of your week, Lisa.

you can't mistake a picture form Aadiil! Another nice take on corridors with beautiful light.
PixelTerror (0) 2009-09-10 9:22
This one is different for it does not have the usual warm impression, still that clear color lightens the view, different indeed but not bad either
Have a nice day JY
Morac (27723) 2009-09-10 10:40

Namaste Aadiil Ji
I like this smooth perspective, much whiter than your traditional orange ( your trademark!)broken at its very beginning by the brown door

One more excellent shot in your style, attractive color, congratulations
ManuMay (36087) 2009-09-10 22:24
This tme soft hues and perspective are most important things, but the inclusion of people is what makes a great difference giving a sense of dimmensions and reminding the human use of the place...and your angle choose to compose it adds this very personal concept in photograpohy...so special and so good!!
Have a nice day...Aadiil !!!
Gerrit (51130) 2009-09-11 0:59
fine variation on your favorite theme.
Different materials and colours,
tomi1 (2194) 2009-09-11 4:22
I prefered to see this picture with a larger dimension but you follow your own technic. The general cloister view shows a beautiful palace. It must be a good place to lodge visits. It could be an hotel but it is not. This is a very soilid construction with high quality and people who share this place may have good human memories anyway. I hope you may show us the hidden view further to the right side. Friendly. Domingos
TravelerNL (3011) 2009-09-11 13:22

alvaraalto (6177) 2009-09-12 12:26
Another amazing picture in your endless, fascinating series of arcades.
The thumbnail suggested a much more modern architecture, but the ornament seems to be more traditional.
gentedilivello (3095) 2009-09-13 0:51
you made a great perspective with this colonnade. The effect is amazing, you chose perfectly the POV. Congratulations.

Had been very busy of late...I do remember this part of the fort & you've captured in your typical style...with a difference that we have mostly white columns & walls instead of red.
xavshot (69835) 2009-09-15 21:51
encore une excellente photo. j'aime beaucoup ton travail sur les perspective. Belle profondeur et luminosité dans cette image. Bravo.
JCG (35129) 2009-09-16 0:01
You are the king of the perspective my friend… A very beautiful photograph on this succession of doors. I like much this shifted framing compared to the pillars on the right what gives, I find, more depth. Good management of the lights which brings softness to the atmosphere. Well done Aadiil, cheer.
With all my friendships of Versailles and with soon,
Nicou (131328) 2009-09-16 8:06

daddo (26078) 2009-09-19 17:29
Salam Aadiil. Not the usually vibrant carrot halva colours but a restrained pistachio hue which is made subtle by the lovely light. Great perspective where the vanishing point vanishes out of the doorway. The inclusion of the solid door on the left adds interesting detail and also contrasts well against the walls. Regards. Klaudio.
danyy (0) 2009-09-19 23:43
je vois que tu continues à jouer très adroitement avec les perspectives et une grande réussite ici avec ce décentrement judicieux et aussi cette bonne répartition des lumières.

Excellent perspective, amazing long perspective. Very interesting architecture. Nice light and colors.
axiotea (21649) 2009-10-08 21:53
I have been also away for sometimes(Thailand)and came back last week in Goa.
Great perspective along the corridor and a fine exposure allowing to see the details. The people in BG gave a sense of distance. I think, IMHO, a black frame would have give more impact to the image.
Ola_Kwiatek (0) 2009-10-11 12:37
