Photographer’s Note

Ladakh is a barren land but full of natural beauty. Here landscapes are very colourful and in different shapes. Anybody who comes here once, will come again and again, if he can do so. I visited this area twice, but even now I want to go there again. A photo of the area is here for you to watch one of the beautiful site of this huge area of Ladakh.

Hi Mahendra,
Himalayas in general are always fascinating, but for what I have seen, Ladakh manages to be even more special. The air and light seems even clearer than anywhere else, and the nuances of colour and shapes of the brown barren slopes, the white clouds and their shadows, offers opportunities to a talented photographer getting amazing photos like this one. Congratulations!

Hello,

It is nice for me to see photos of Ladakh. It remembers me a travel I did there some years ago. There is still the magnificient mineral colors of the mountains and the light pattern projected through the clouds.

Many of your shot have to be taken horizontal and not vertical like this lovely Ladakh photograph. Your choice of format is absolutely correct. Your light management is fine producing vibrant color hues and strong contrasts. Stones vs. sky - I like Ladakh a lot, the stones and the sky are simply great, very similar to Tibet. Fine sharpness too. Very nice nature shot.

Merci pour ta visite. Celà m'a donné l'occasion de visiter ta galerie et je dois dire que mon choix a été difficile car j'ai trouvé plusieurs clichés à ma plaire.
Je trouve cette photo particulièrement réussie. Ce paysage est fantastique et avec une bonne saturation des couleurs tu as su le mettre en valeur.
