Photographer’s Note

This is from my first trip to Srinagar. This was shot in the massive Dal lake which is like a small city in itself. Apart from the famed Houseboats, the dal has thousands of residential properties, veggie farms, schools, markets, floating shops, police stations etc. Right from diet cokes to Cuban cigars (no less), you can source almost anything here. I took a five hour boat ride that helped me cover few portions of Dal. Loved it.

Fahad,
This is a nicely composed shot with the river leading the eye through the scene. The reflection is nice adding depth and balance to the scene. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photo's sharpness.
