Photographer’s Note

This shot is at the base of the Nubra Valley..on the edge of Hunder - the village after which one hits the Siachen Base. This main attraction here is the bactrian camel..( double hunped camel,have been breeding since the traders from the north left them centuries ago - once the endangered species ! )

Like this perspective with two men under the sand dunes and the monstrous hardrock mountain..

Sayeed,
you're absolutely right. Nature dominates here so much with the dunes and the huge, monstrous mountain. The two persons are vital for the success of this shot. They are the only clue of the sizes here.
