Photographer’s Note
Stakna again! This monastery never fails to surprise...Ive photographed it a hundred times and a hundred different faces it carries with ease.
This time its dressed with a "monsoon sunset" cape!
Enjoy the Himalayas...:-)

Lovely place, wonderful shot this one, it´s well composed, splendid lighting, exposure, well thught to make the monastery has the preminence on the picture, and beautiful colours beyond it.

I am in awe Vijay! Himalayas never ceases to surprise me but this one is simply stunning. Great colours with superb layers, the monastery itself is so majestic. I had visited this place a decade back but never managed anything quite like this. Well Done!

And I do enjoy your picture. This is really lovely, wonderful the evening light. Love the flow of the stream. Nevertheless everything seems so calm and relaxed.
All the best from Zurich

This shot takes my breath away, Vijay. The monastery at the top of that peak is so regaled in sunlight. The whole scnene looks otherworldly. You capture a precious part of world heritage.
