Photographer’s Note
This annual festival spans two days at the Phyang monastery. Core to the event are the Chhams - sacred dance dramas. The monastic order of Dringungpa stands over the proceedings of this festival. Here, one of the high lamas presides over the days events.
A Provia 100 slide scanned on a Canon FS4000 scanner and developed in CS2.

The warm tones atract from the thumbnail itself, and the Lama doesn't seem to be in a happy mood. Pity indeed.

Hi,
I like the dominating red color, this perspective with the Lama in the corner and of course his face is telling me much about his state of mind... Maybe only his hands... I think it would be better to show his hands.

Good backdrop for this fine portrait. A pity about the fragmentof white at the bottom, maybe a rarae case for cloning?
