Photographer's Note

Hello everybody

I captured this image at the end of June, 2012 when I started my journey from Kargil to Padam via Panikhar, Rangdum. After crossing the famous pass "Pensi La" (in Ladakh La means "Pass") I faced this famous glacier "Drang Drung".

Drang Drung is a mountain glacier situated near the Pensi La mountain pass at the Kargil - Zanaskar Road in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The Drang-Drung Glacier is likely to be the largest glacier in Ladakh other than Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram Range with a maximum length of 23 kilometres.

I am really lucky to reach this place and got a stunning beautiful image.

best wishes to all
