Photographer’s Note
The Pangong Tso (lake) is Indias furthest boudary to the North.Less than half the water body lies in India the rest is Chinese.A days drive out of Leh over the annoying Chang La pass.
Spectacular, though a consolation prize for those that havent made it to the Hindu holy of holies...the Mansarover lake....abode of Shiva.
The colours change every hour and can hold one spellbound for a lifetime!
Enjoy the Himalayas...:-)

Serwus Vijay !
The clarity and depth of this wonderful vista is absolutely outstanding. Deep blue tones of lake and sky contrast nicely with the gray and brown of the mountains. Some grain is visible on the sky, but that's a minor point in overall fantastic image.

Mat

Incredible shot! The colours are so vivid and intense that it really gets my attention. I like the composition too, with the repeated horizontal lines broken up by the jagged line of the mountains. I would have cropped a little bit from the bottom, but it is a stunning shot as it is!

Hi Vijay,
Wonderful landscape with the distant chain of mounatains and those low clouds on the horizon. The Dof is really nice and the intense blue colour of the lake and the sky is superb and togheter with the earthy tones it creates a nice combination of colours. Well done!

Hi Vijay,
We are seeing a flood of images from Pangong Tso these days, perhaps none better than this for its perfect clarity and wonderful colours. I was there almost a decade back, unfortunately the weather wasn't as good as this. Thanks for giving us the visual pleasure.
With Best Wishes

Really stunning view. Shame it is a bit small. Perhaps a bit too much featureless blue lake in the foreground and horizon is leaning ever so slightly to the right, but these are minor criticisms on a great photo. Well done.

Hello Vijay,
An amazing picture with this deep blue of the lake being the same colour of the one of the sky.
maybe the moutains are a little bit too small compare to the size of the lake on the picture ? But with this choice of focal lenght, I guess you wanted to show the horizontality of the lake too.
TFS,
Olivier
