It is in the way to Chandanwaari (the gateway of Amarnath, the great hindu tirtha ). The name of the valley is Betaab Waari because hindi film Betaab had been shooted here. It's lash green appearance attracted me to take a shot. The silver river flows through the valley is Sindh. This valley is 5/6 km from Pahelgaon ( Kashmir ). I took this shot by my old baby camera Codak KB10. It is scanned from a photo.
It is a re-post. Hope you like it.

Amazing river, very interesting landscape of India. Original colors.

The landscape is beautiful. The contrasts and sharpness are fine, there is - in my view - slight problem with a blueish tint. As I have not been there I will not post a WS, actually I tried and had only a partial success. I added a lot of red and yellow, but I'm not so good at working wich scans, so I gave it up. Otherwise you have a very nice photograph. Good job.

A superb high pov, with good sharpness & striking light contrasts. Excellent colour & the diagonally placed river adds nice dynamism. Tfs!

- Nice verdant valley Subhendu, almost monochromic in green, beautiful curves and turns of this winding river, which creates small islands everywhere, excellent framing with your PoV, well done!
Have a nice weekend.

Bonita a imagem do rio deslizando desordenadamente por entre o verde da planície. Belo trabalho. Parabéns, abraço!

Not so easy to scan this paper picture
If the middle of the river was over exposed in the original paper picture it's impossible to make a correction.
You have more chance to correct lights if it was under exposed
In otherwise the place looks great with this good POV.

The elevated point of view gives a good impression of the river!
Seems like a fertile place with plenty water for the fields...
A well framed view with a strong diagonal!

this is a nice improvement. The strong contrast fits better in the scene and the greens were enhanced. Exquisite landscape and well chosen point of view. Good work on the scanning as well. A good re-work!

Scanning from print is not very easy and more so depends on the quality of the scanner as well. There's a lot of OE areas in this shot, especially as the sunlight reflects in the water. Still the landscape is beautiful and compo. well done. What do we see on the right...grazing sheep?

Nice use of the river to drive the look of the reader inside this green landscape. Presented in this way, it works nicely.
