Photographer’s Note
Lamayuru, Ladakh - altitude 3540 m
I came back here Lamayuru from my trekking in Zanskar just now.
Bright orange, peculiar geographical features seen over there, and old chortens. How many years have they stood thus under the blue sky? The small path toward Zanskar starts here.

Hi Hisashi
I like very much the composition and the POV from behind the chortens overhanging the valley. I specially like the presence of the long stick on the right, standing as the backbone of the picture. The view is great, and the bright colors give a very joyful mood to the pic. Although we can easily imagine it's quite cold there, it looks warm.Well done, once again!

Hello Hisashi,
excellent these constructions under the blue sky and this superb clear atmosphere on this altitude.I thing that these monuments stand there through the years because of there isn't pollution in the atmosphere.
Have a nice weekend,Danos

Hi, Hisashi.
An astonishing presentation of these ancient chortens. Perfectly framed and featuring strong, bold colors, just as I like them (LOVE THEM). Those polarized Canon blue skies are priceless : what a great contrast with them brilliant golden browns & greens... simply wonderful, my friend!
Have a good day, I'll see you soon.
Ciao,
Fulvio.

Hi Hisashi,
Fascinating work!! I love the FG detail of the chortens in this beautiful setting and the way the hillside leads us into the valley far beyond. Above all, that perfct scoop of photographer's sky answers the prayer flag with its blessing.
I didn't know what the chortens were until I read fulvio's note, so I looked them up. Here's a link
