Hello Paul,
Great portrait where the window frames are as important to the composition as the woman herself. Excellent light and sharpness. Well done.

Hi Paul,
A very curious portrait of a curious old lady. Despite the great differences, it's funny how some habits are so alike - here in Portugal is still usual to see old ladies watching what's going on in front and below their windows. The window makes a great "double frame inside the frame".
Regards, José.

Hello Paul.
A very fine portrait/daily life shot. I like the gentle light and colour tones. You have placed the window centrally, but the position of the woman in the window is just right in your frame. You captured a superb expression on her face, and the detail is excellent. The old window and the old lady seem to go together very well, as if they belong to each other. It's easy to imagine her face n this window day after day.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Paul,
Wonderful portrait of this elderly lady with such an intense gaze.
Makes us wonder what is catching her attention and what is going through her mind to make such a quizzical expression on her deeply linned face.

Hello Paul
An excellent portrait. Love the way how you framed the old lady with the window. Her face is that of curiosity. Nice natural colours, but it's your framing & compo. which stands out. Fine work Paul!

Hey Paul,
I agree with your introduction page and your respect your choice by post process your pics as less as possible! and it is the case with this picture... but the framing, the attitude and the exposure of the picture are very well managed.
What a beautiful portrait and good frame of the window.
This woman looks like the Vietnamese Ethnie "H'Mongs", her face and way to wear...
Best regards,
Raphael

Hi,really a good photo,I too like this type of photography where you can see the thought of the person in the eyes. Its the photographer's eyes that looks around for these kind of shots, keep it up,"spare of thought for the lady sitting and looking out of the window in such far flung area where she may not get the necessary medicines if she requires one"yet they are there and happy,God is great...

Classical ... and so well done here. I did not go to Ladhak yet but in many other regions of the Himalaya I saw such scenes. The unity of the tones is excellent.
