... taken while trekking in the Changtang region of Ladakh. Changtang is the western part of the Tibetan plateau, but politically part of India.

A nice landscape. What I like the much is the soft colours, not the hiper satured colours that we can see in many other pictures.

fantastic severe landscape of Ladakh... the land of my dreams ;o) Excellent composition with horses in the foreground and mountains with patches of snow in the background... I love it! :o) Perfect sharpness, beautiful light and nice natural colours.

In knapp 4 Wochen bin ich in Indien,aber ganz im Süden,Kerala.
Ein tolles Foto mit wunderbarem Licht,tollem Schatten und sehr schönen kräftigen Farben.

It is really a picturesque shot.
I like the texture of the hills.
The horses provide a bit of a scale.

Was für ein Platz, was für eine Aussicht!
Diese gewellte Landschaft mit ihrem Licht-/Schattenspiel und dem ebenmäßigen Gipfel ist ja atemberaubend. Die klare und offenbar sehr trockene Luft lässt jede Einzelheit erkennen. Ein großartiges Foto!

Hallo Karsten,
was für eine herlliche Landschaft.
Das Spiel mit Licht und Schatten über den wellenförmigen Hügeln ist sehr sehenswert. Die Farben sind ebenfalls schön kräftig und wirken dennoch nicht unnatürlich. Gefällt mir sehr gut.
