Old man at Kargil Photo

Photographer’s Note

I found this man at phone booth with his mighty stick in his hand. Although he was very old but very alert and full of life he can understand English, Hindi and even Punjabi.

Hi Chanjit, I like this portrait a lot. One of the best pictures in your collection I think. All these composition in mostly dark colors with a strangely textures background is truely awesome. I like it a lot. Congratulations.

Nice portrait is this.
I like the colours and the sharpness. Good background. Maybe there's a little bit to much balance: the head right in tge middle. I think I prefer another way of capturing: let the most left 10 % of the picture disappear. ?!?

Nice portrait, showing us not only the face, but also the clothes and stick on the guy. It does seem a little too centered, but it's nice nevertheless.

This one is really good portrait.Nice soft colors makes this one very soothing to eyes.The face looks very expressive and it gives an impression the man has been through a lot of turbulent times.Very strong portrait.
