Photographer's Note

This is another version of a scene I photographed a couple of weeks ago. I like this one better because of the deeper colours and contrast. To repeat my earlier note:

A devotee at the Harmandir Sahib ('Abode of God'), more commonly known as the Golden Temple, in Amritsar. The temple, built in the 16th century, is the most prominent of the Sikh Gurdwaras. It is a profoundly peaceful and welcoming place.

My earlier photo, in which the temple itself can be seen, is at this link: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/India/photo1469053.htm
