Photographer’s Note
This is a rhododendron forest on the way up to Triund, which is a ridge of the Dhauladars far above McLeod Ganj or Upper Dharamsala. In the Spring these forests are a blaze of red. This photo was taken in October long after the blooms have ended, but the trees are still impressive.
