Those who have been to a place called Naddi at Dharamshala in India will vouch for the beauty of that place. Views can be seen at the link in the bottom.
Naddi, as such, is new as a tourist destination. And like any other such place, this one too is growing to take in the opportunity available to the early mover. The road is still not in place, but the buildings have started coming up. In the absence of regulations, what is coming up is haphazard, and such may be the condition even ten years later, when the place becomes a major tourist spot of the state of Himachal Pradesh.

You are absolutely right that our so called system is allowing these buildings & some day the humanity has to pay a heavy price for this. Already seen in Kedarnath. Well seen & nice picture.

This is a fine depiction with a nice narration how these beautiful places are being spoiled. What would have been a verdant green slope is now dotted with these ugly concrete structures. A fine photo from your high POV of this hill station from HP. I am glad we can still see some green. Perfect choice of title. Thanks for sharing.

The ongoing development work is all too evident. Tourism is no doubt very good for the local economy, but all too often people destroy the things they love. Well presented documentary image, one wonders what it will look like in a few years time when the tourists start arriving in numbers.

This is an interesting and quite thought-provoking photo. The beautiful green terraced hillside is already rather disfigured by the half finished concrete buildings, which may cause a lot of environmental problems further on. This is a good document of a changing society.

Very beautiful those green terraced hillsides with abundant trees and good quality construction, definitely a good destination to relax and enjoy.
A beautiful job very well done.
With good lighting and sharpness.
Have a nice day.

Interesting note and picture!
Lots of details to be seen and enjoyed!
What tourists can do there? Is it a mountaineous area?
Sharpness, exposure, colors, chosen pov and composition truly pleased me!
TFS - congrats,

Interesting write up about this place with construction of new houses still in progress, but specks of vivid colour in a way is a nice breaker bringing lot of live to the scene. The compo and perspective is good, clarity is adequate and lots of green. Well shot, Congrats. Thks to the link.

Good description and capture of how nature ( green terraces) will disapear because of economic interest and masive tourism killing natural landscapes with concrete constructions like the very big on the right hand
