hi all,
another pic from solang valley taken in the month of february;i was awestruck by the beauty of this place,clear blue sky,snow-clad mountains,green slopes covered with snow.solang valley is about 12 km. from manali at an altitude of around 8000 feet.it is one of the best ski resorts in india with a indian mountaineering training institute,it also is the starting point to many awesome treks like beas kund.the valley itself has abundance of natural beauty,lush green vegetation,snow clad mountains and solang nullah flowing in the middle,in summers the meadow takes an amazing shade of green and paragliding is quite common in those months,the mountains in the background is pir panjal range between 4000-5000 metres.
