Destination:-The Kali Baari Temple
City :-Shimla
Time :-10.30 night

The temple premises throngs with the devotees through out the day, who come here for the nine most auspicious days, during the Navratras, to worship Mother of the Universe, Ma Durga.

Its not only the locl devotees, who come here for worship, but also the devotees from Bengal whom Mother Durga attracts like honey bees.

Can you imagine.......that about 100000 (One Lakh) tourists from Bengal have come here during the Durga Puja, all of them well cultured, well behaved, soft spoken and with all the devotion in their heart and mind.

It was privellege to be present during the worship, which no words can describe, only the heart can feel.

good composition and beautiful colours!
Though I wouldn't mae such a tight crop on the right. Just 1-1,5cm more to add to the right side...?

Very nice TE post to show the temple and religious belief aspect of north India. There must be countless of symbolic statues like this all over the place, each with different pattern, style or appearance, but the god is always attracting followers.

You may have many ways to shoot this abstract view, but the most obvious will be to avoid cropping of these parts while still presenting what you wish to show

.white dot at bottom left
.crop at left and top

Sharpness and light condition also need attention. tfs

Bonsoir,
belle photo de cette déesse aux quatres bras, shiva je crois.
Jolie prise, ou vous avez peut etre pris celle a huit bras, Kali, je crois que c' est bien de kali qu' il sagit.
J' ai laissé mon erreur pour vous montrer que il faut reconaitre quand on se trompe et je croyais vraiment qu' il sagissait de shiva.
