Photographer’s Note

This is Queen of Hills........Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
This is the city I live in and adore.
Transferred in the last fag of 2006, from the Industrial City,the Manchester of India;Ludhiana, I find this place worth living.

One of the costliest cities of North India, to live in, the city attracts the newcomer at first sight. The beautiful architecture, the eye catching landscapes, the forests of pine and deodar, the influx of monkeys and langoors....all this make the city a joy to live.

When the Sun goes down, the city gets illuminated by the the lights of various colours from one end to the other.
You can enjoy your walk even after midnight.....this shot is the testimony;clicked at 10.53pm hours.

The cool breeze , the fragrance of the trees and............its a Paradise, be it a day or night.

Interesting night shot Rajeev , I found very interesting the colours given by the lights at the buildings , it's a pitty the sky was so black , composition is fine too , well done.

The quality it's not so good, lack of sharpness, but the composition is wonderful. Fine POV and colours. Very good details

Good night capture, I like very much the strong contrast of the lighting and the colors of the city with the darkness of the night.
Excellent work in the setting and in the exposure.
It's a nice composition.
