Photographer's Note
The Naggar Castle located near Manali is in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. This unique medieval structure having an architectural blend of western and Himalayan style was built around 1460 AD, by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. The castle is scenically located near the river Beas and offers beautiful panoramic views of the valleys and snow capped mountains.
The ancient castle has been recently turned into a heritage hotel and has been opened for tourists by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.
