Dalhousie is a popular hill station in the western Himalayas. It falls in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. I have a long association with this place since I come from this part of India. There are a few attractive spots around Dalhousie and the glade of Khajjiar is one of them. In the summers, tourists flock to this place.
In recent years, the place has turned shabby owing to excessive tourist traffic. At one time, the thick alpine forest surrounding the glade was a pristine place where nature thrived undisturbed. Now it has turned a victim to unscrupulous people who use it for undesirable activities. As a result, the forest is now littered with garbage of all sorts.
My picture is a testimony to desecration of nature by us humans.
This is our Incredible India!

Good reportage from India with a social context.
This is our common problem. You can see a similar scene everywhere in the world.

how are you? Here you presented a very common characteristics of us... Just enjoy and through anything everywhere. Really a very a problem in any part of our country. They, who do this have no sense how much harm it can generate to the nature... Very sad, I also feel sorry for the part of Indians though I am not such... Anyway as a photograph it is superb also. Depth and sharpness are superb, though I think it is superb for its appeal. A nice work for us. Hope one day we can see a pollution free India, and for this we have to take the initiative from our soul... Thanks...
Have a nice time...
Wish to see some more in TE.
